i know the funny letters are to guard against spam, but why do i have to put them in sometimes and other times i don't when i am emailing the same person. this happens when we are emailing back and forth.
Why do i have to put the security letters in sometimes when i send and email?
there are computer 'bots' that can make accounts for businesses to spam email. to prevent this they make a series of character that are hard for a computer to decipher, but a human can do without much effort.
